Can't Deny What Isn't True

Sadly meets her in the rain,
Tells her of a place he knows.
Away from all the silent noise,
Where colors tell of ageless joys;
And dreaming still of ecstasy,
Her shadow drifts away.
Too many times she's dreamt to go there.
So sad that all could not be right.
Away he cries without a sound,
A tired world he trips around.
Can't deny what isn't true.
And though it seems to bring him pain,
A dream alive is just a name.
And somehow things just stay the same,
A dream alive is just a name.
Contradiction is a part
Of every beat of every heart.
You can't escape what isn't you;
You have to think a life or two.
You can't deny what isn't true.
And though it seems to bring you pain,
A dream alive is just a name.
And somehow things just stay the same,
A dream alive is just a name.
A dream alive is just a name.
